Job Summary:
Member of the parallel coop team completing design projects include developing concepts to resolve current issues and as part of new product position is a great development opportunity
What You Will Do:
- Complete Design Projects
- Leverage parallel coop students to complete projects.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to 2 or 3 students.
- Participate in the evaluation of the performance of the students.
Education requirement:
BS in engineering from ABET accredited program is required. ME ABE SystemsE & AE are & GE are also options.
What skills you will have:
Technical Excellence:
- Proficiency in engineering 3D design software
- Ability to optimize product designs for mining and construction equipment using simulation platforms.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and their application in realworld scenarios.
ComputerAided Design & Engineering:
- Expertise in CAD software likeAutoCADCREO SolidWorks orCATIA.
- Skilled in creating detailed designs simulations and modifications.
- Knowledge in using CAD tools to develop and refine engineering drawings and models.
Product Design and Development:
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools such as Siemens Teamcenter or PTC Windchill.
- Ability to manage the entire lifecycle of a product from inception through engineering design and manufacturing.
- Knowledge of integrating PLM tools to streamline product development processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The location for this position is Champaign IL
Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.

This position will require 10% travel.
