Job Description:

Develops Plans and Schedules for implementing heavy duty vehicle maintenance program. Responsible for overseeing the checkout of all vehicles under Depot Operations. Provides technical and administrative supervision of the Depot Maintenance Facility. The Heavy Wheel Mechanic also aids the Depot Team during unpacking inventory inspection and support of the repair and check out of the MEIs. This position is located in Qatar.

What You Will Do:

The Heavy Wheel Mechanic will provide oversight on Organizational and Direct Support repairs in accordance with (IAW) US ARMY 10/20/30 PMCS Maintenance Standards. Reviews changes and updates Technical Manuals and makes recommendations as appropriate. Makes recommendations for training and repairs and administers OnTheJob Training for selected personnel. Makes recommendations on parts acquisitions.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Successful completion of HeavyDuty Vehicle Maintenance course of instruction from a recognized technical institute.

Minimum of ten (10) years of field automotive maintenance experience to include troubleshooting and repair.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in an extreme desert heat environment

Qualifications We Prefer:

Graduate of specialized training on the M977 Series HEMTT. Demonstrated basic knowledge of the Patriot HEMTT refurbishment modification and system integration process.

Demonstrated knowledge of Patriot peculiar launcher trailers and associated mechanics.

Demonstrated experience in the HIAB and/or GROVE Crane to include troubleshooting repair and load testing

Demonstrated ability to interact with leadership effectively including customer Raytheon teammates and suppliers

Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs

Education Requirement:

Bachelors Degree with 6 years of related experience or Associates Degree with 10 years experience or HS Diploma/GED with 14 years of related experience

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
