Job Description
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via email phone live chat and social media in a friendly and informative manner.
- Provide guidance on plant selection care instructions and troubleshooting common issues (e.g. leaf drop pests).
- Assist with orders tracking returns and replacementsespecially for live plants and fragile items.
- Educate customers on our products seasonal promotions and plantcare tips.
- Collaborate with the fulfillment and horticulture teams to resolve customer concerns accurately and efficiently.
- Use our CRM and order management systems (Shopify) to log customer interactions and follow up as needed.
Qualifications
- 1 year of customer service experience in ecommerce.
- Passion for plants gardening or horticulture (basic knowledge of common houseplants or outdoor plants is a big plus!).
- Strong written communication skills with a friendly and empathetic tone.
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with platforms like Shopify Gorgias or Freshdesk is a plus.
- Bonus: Experience in a greenhouse garden center or plant retail setting.
