Duties:
- Perform duties in the Montana Tech Library Technical Services Department including the preparation organization and processing of items for access by library patrons.
- Collection maintenance and preservation.
- Cataloging and processing of library resources.
- Management of the map and government documents collection.
- Assist with the management of Montana Techs institutional repositoryDigital Commons
- Other duties as assigned
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
- Commitment and demonstrated ability to cooperate in a team environment and maintain effective and respectful working relationships with all library personnel
- Experience with digitization best practices
- Experience working in a library
- Supervisory experience
- Demonstrated commitment to public service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in learning and mastering specialized library specific software and emerging technologies
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and push carts loaded with library resources
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
