Profile Summary:
Were looking for an innovative and handson Machine Learning Engineer to join our corporate data science team part of the CTOs Office at HID Global. Youll collaborate with data scientists ML Ops engineers and fullstack developers to help bring AIdriven ideas into production. This role focuses on building performance scalable ML systemsincluding classical models LLMs and multiagent architecturesand turning them into realworld applications.
Youll play a key role in shaping HIDs adoption of machine learning and generative AI with responsibilities ranging from model development to prompt optimization to implementation of safety and governance mechanisms.

As our Machine Learning Engineer youll support HIDs success by:
- Designing and implementing machine learning pipelines and models including LLMbased solutions
- Translating prototypes and research into productiongrade code and deployable components
- Developing and finetuning foundation models and LLMs for specific use cases
- Training and optimizing numeric machinelearning models
- Applying prompt engineering and building agentbased architectures for complex task automation
- Integrating models into backend systems and supporting realtime/batch inference services
- Working with guardrails and observability tools to ensure safe and robust use of generative AI
- Staying up to date with advances in AI and emerging LLM ecosystems to bring innovative capabilities to the team
Roles & Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
- Handson experience with LLM solution development and integration
- Solid understanding of modern LLM tools and frameworks such as:
LangChain LangGraph CrewAI Autogen
Azure OpenAI Studio Gemini Studio
LangSmith or equivalent observability/debugging platforms - Proficiency with Python and ML libraries like PyTorch TensorFlow scikitlearn or Hugging Face Transformers
- Deep understanding of agent architecture prompt engineering and LLM guardrails
- Experience with CI/CD practices version control testing and model governance
- Comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure) and container technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
- Bonus: Experience with vector databases (e.g. Pinecone Weaviate FAISS) or orchestration tools (e.g. MLflow Airflow)
Education and/or Experience:
- 6 years of experience building and deploying machine learning models in production
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or a related technical field
