Are you ready to lead a dynamic team of process engineers and drive innovation in product development As The Manager Production Service Process Engineer this role will be located at our Racine WI manufacturing facility and report to Sr. Director of Formulation Global Product & Sustainability NA LSB. As the Production Service Process Engineer Manager within our Lifestyle Brands business youll play a pivotal role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Youll oversee all stages of process development scaleup and product qualification collaborating closely with our manufacturing and supply chain teams to enhance resiliency achieve cost savings and drive sustainability initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing the Production Services team: Build a high performing motivated team ensuring continued professional and technical development of direct reports nourishing a culture of innovation flexibility inclusion accountability and collaboration.
Allocating resources across multiple brands to support process development and scale up running trials and qualification of new products.
Leading the process development process: Ensuring ontime and seamless scaleup and production readiness of new product launches.
Collaborating with the Formulation Packaging Quality and Operations teams to scale up new formulations and ensure production readiness on the manufacturing line.
Manage the execution of lab and pilot plant studies outlined in the process development plan to ensure the scalability and robustness of formulas.
Manage the execution of qualification plans line trials and equipment capability studies to ensure successful commercialization at internal andexternal manufacturing locations
Conduct indepth technical feasibility assessments of contract manufacturers/suppliers including manufacturing capabilitiescost drivers and quality systems
Assist quality and supply planning teams to troubleshoot quality and/or production issues at manufacturing locations.
Develop commercialization risk assessments ahead of scaleup to help ensure the right level of resource and time allocation (depending on product complexity and supply chain stability)
Manage the creation of quality specifications process instructions and formula specifications as well as ongoing management of data accuracy in a ProjectLifecycle Management software (SAP)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOULL BRING
Bachelors degree in chemical engineering or relatedengineering field
8 years experience in Process Engineering with a focus on new product commercialization in a manufacturingenvironment
2 years of people management experience
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Proven understanding of formulation manufacturing processes and formulation scaleup
Knowledge of OTC/personal care process / manufacturing guidelines and requirements OR deep knowledge in laundry solids blending and other household cleaning products processing
Proven experience and knowledge of process development scale up and manufacturing best practices
Superior technical knowledge attention to detail and ability to multitask we movefast!
Highly effective communication skills able to articulate ideas voice constructiveopinions
Ability to collaborate well as a member of a multifunctionalteam
Constantly curious organized and detailoriented with applicable liquids scaleup and manufacturing and/or productdevelopment experience at a fastpaced consumer packaged goods company
