The role: Warehouse Specialist
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the implementation of continuous improvement activities
related to warehousing of incoming/outgoing of parts subassemblies and finished goods. This
position will be responsible for shipping receiving storing and distribution of materials within the
facility; packaging and shipping of finished goods to meet customer expectations; and maintaining
inventory accuracy through processing of transactions and inventory counts.

What youll do:
- Receives and stocks material from suppliers and perform receiving inspections to identify shortages/damages from delivery
- Maintains inventory by identifying labeling and placing materials and supplies in stock recording location of inventory
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
- Maintains inprocess inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies
- Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units
- Receives material and supplies for production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity placing materials in stock
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying pulling packing crating loading and securing product
- Schedules carriers and prepares shipping documents for freight forwarders and/or customs broker as required
- Communicates with freight forwarders to ensure on time delivery as required
- Documents product shipment by recording units shipped
- Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory and data integrity
- Maintains warehouse organization/cleanliness and provides support in the planning of the warehouse layout
- Maintains materialhandling equipment by completing preuse inspections making operator repairs as required
- Learns understands and complies with all company policies; Adheres to all safety & GMP procedures in the performance of job duties.
- Ensures material handling is in accordance with general warehouse best practices
What youll bring:
- Minimum 3 years related experience in Shipping/Receiving/Material Handling in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
- Experience with inventory control systems ERP software and inventory management procedures
- Experience in a regulated industry preferred
- Organizational skills
- Ability to read and analyze information
- Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines
- Excellent time management
- Process improvement mindset
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50lbs)
- Data entry skills
- RF Smart experience preferred
What else
- This job operates in a manufacturing/industrial/clinical environment.
- This position requires working onsite prolonged periods working on a computer the ability to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds without assistance and frequent exposure to moderate noise
- This position operates a pushcart pallet jack to move stack and load materials throughout the warehouse.
- This is a fulltime position. This position occasionally requires long hours and weekend work.
Expected Travel
This position requires up to 5% travel.
