- Provide application systems or process design recommendations based on short and long term Technology organization strategy.
- Develop enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces functions and features.
- Use a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications.
- Provide expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business.
- Determine specifications then plan design and develop the most complex and business critical software solutions utilizing appropriate software engineering processeseither individually or in concert with project team.
- Provide architectural strategy and direction for multiple diverse application functions on a variety of multiplatform systems in order to support the achievement of corporate business objectives.
- Develop application strategy in support of short and longterm business plans as well as application implications and software development requirements.
- Participate in the development of company business system architecture plans and review cost and feasibility of system requests while ensuring the plan supports the strategic needs of the company.
- May develop programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse.
- Apply indepth knowledge of programming languages and designing coding testing etc.
- Understand and consistently apply the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies.
- Research and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the business. Viewed as a technical expert and critical technical resource.
- Typically lead complex projects and participate in larger initiatives. Solve complex technical and operational problems.
- Act as a resource for teammates with less experience. May oversee workflow and provide coaching and training for a small team.
Requirements
- Must have Bachelors degree in Computer Science CIS or related technical degree
- Must have 8 years of progressive experience in IT positions performing the following:
- Indepth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify apply and implement best practices.
- Understanding of multiple disciplines/processes related to the position.
- Solving complex problems by applying best practices.
- Indepth knowledge and experience with C# SQL and relational databases in a complex integration environment.
- Providing direction and mentor less experienced teammates.
- Demonstrating advanced communications skills including ability to interpret and convey complex difficult or sensitive information.
- Agile development and release practices.
- Supporting a team with application architecture in an Agile environment.
- Utilizing: System Architect software by Unicom Systems Inc ServiceNow C# .NET TSQL GitHub AWS and Azure technologies Rest APIs Python Java SQL Queries OS Platforms (Windows Linux and Mac OSX) HTML 5 CSS Ajax jQuery XML JSP JavaScript Microsoft SQL Server Oracle IBM DB2 SSIS DevOps Eclipse Toad SQL Developer WinSCP Visual and Apache Tomcat.
- Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Atlanta GA. Must be available to travel to Atlanta GA regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24hours notice.
