Job Description

Sales Operations Manager HighReliability Technology Aerospace & Defense Sector
Work Type: 100% Onsite

About the Role

Were partnering with a global leader in highreliability electronic solutions that support critical missions across aerospace defense and space. With a legacy of excellence spanning over six decades this organization is known for delivering cuttingedge products that meet the worlds toughest reliability and compliance standards.

They are currently seeking a Sales Operations Manager (SOM) to help elevate the performance and efficiency of their sales function. This role is strategic and tactical in streamlining processes improving customer experience and driving measurable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Process & Pipeline Management

  • Own endtoend sales operations and continuous improvement efforts

  • Plan forecast and track sales performance and key metrics

  • Ensure a strong highquality bookings pipeline that supports growth targets.

Performance & Metrics

  • Define and monitor KPIs such as bookings quote turnaround time and sales activity.

  • Provide regular performance reporting to executive leadership and business unit teams.

  • Drive timely and accurate CRM and SIOP system updates

Customer Experience & Market Intelligence

  • Optimize internal processes to enhance ease of doing business and customer satisfaction.

  • Partner with internal teams to gather and share competitive intelligence

Pricing & Strategic Initiatives

  • Support pricing strategies that improve profitability

  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and lead process enhancements across the sales function.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure adherence to internal business ethics health safety and environmental standards.

  • Contribute to broader sales and operational excellence initiatives

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in marketing business communications or a related field

  • 35 years of B2B technical sales experience (aerospace or highly regulated industries preferred)

  • CRM and pipeline management expertise
