Job Description
Job Summary:
Richland RIV School District is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable AssistantHigh School Baseball Coach to lead our Junior Varsity and Varsity Baseball Teams. The ideal candidate will be committed to developing studentathletes both on and off the field while fostering a culture of sportsmanship teamwork and excellence.
Responsibilities:
Support the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices and games.
Assist in developing game strategies and analyzing performance.
Mentor studentathletes promoting teamwork discipline and sportsmanship.
Help with player development including strength and conditioning programs.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all team members.
Maintain equipment and assist with logistics for practices and games.
- Ensure compliance with Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) regulations and district policies.
- Communicate effectively with players parents and school staff.
- Organize and oversee offseason conditioning and training programs.
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching experience (preferably at the high school level or higher).
- Knowledge of baseball fundamentals rules and game strategy.
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to mentor studentathletes and promote academic success.
- Must meet all MSHSAA coaching requirements including CPR certification and background check.
