Job Description Summary:
The Associate Program Manager supports the Electronic Systems Growth and Capture organization in execution of its support of business development for Electronic Systems as a whole. The position works under the guidance of the Director and Program Manager for Growth and Capture who carry the responsibility of supporting business development for the four subbusiness areas of Electronic Systems. We are actively seeking an associate program manager with a diverse set of skills strong business knowledge and financial acumen. Duties/Responsibilities
Assists in the development of project documentation to include but not limited to program plans schedules statements of work risk tracking purchase requisitions.
Performs data entry and management using prescribed business tools.
Works with the technical team to implement and update Program Plans and Integrated Master Schedule.
Maintains actions and problem tracking systems
Ability to apply basic administrative principles.
Ability to learn new principles and learn Drapers business tools.
Works under the supervision of the Associate Director for Portfolio Execution and the assigned program manager.
Regularly interacts with project team staff.
Effectively conveys work results to the project team and supervisors in oral and written form; clearly communicates with management and peers on routine matters.
Skills/Abilities
Ability to apply basic program management knowledge skills tools and techniques to project/program activities to meet the successful delivery and of execution of assigned programs.
Ability to organize programmatic information for effective planning execution project monitoring and control and decision making
Ability to integrate team member inputs into reports and presentations for and as directed by the program manager.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Education
Bachelors degree in a relevant Engineering Technical or Business field of study
Experience
35 years of professional experience in program management.
