Are you a strategic thinker ready to lead category transformation across a dynamic regional landscape
A leading global company is seeking a Regional Category Leadto spearhead the strategic development and execution of category plans across Africa for a wellknown international brand in the food and hospitality industry.
This is a highimpact opportunity for a supply chain leader with exceptional commercial acumen and the ability to influence across multiple markets. The successful candidate will shape a multiyear sourcing strategy that delivers growth embeds ESG objectives and drives supplier partnerships that secure longterm value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing a 35 year category strategy aligned with innovation ESG and risk mitigation goals
- Leading regional sourcing efforts and owning strategic supplier relationships
- Championing sustainability and aligning sourcing with the brands Recipe for Good strategy
- Harmonising brand standards and driving consistency across the region
- Collaborating with global teams to ensure alignment with wider business goals
Ideal candidate profile:
- 5 years in senior supply chain or procurement roles preferably in the food industry
- Proven success in strategic category management on a regional or business unit scale
- Strong analytical and cost modelling skills
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement abilities
- A degree in Supply Chain Management Business Engineering or a related field
