Job Description
Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine. CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has 35 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a fulltime phone operator to work at our Crozer PA office.
Please note this role is entitled to a $500 signon bonus.*
Responsibilities
- Receives places and transfers telephone calls using appropriate phone etiquette
- Records and communicates all messages in an accurate concise and timely manner using appropriate medical terminology and abbreviations and appropriate EMR workflows for phone notes.
- Routes emergency calls appropriately.
- Pages individuals to inform them of telephone calls using paging and interoffice communication equipment.
- Maintains an accurate listing of physician phone numbers fax numbers and addresses.
- Performs clerical duties such as typing proofreading accepting orders scheduling appointments and sorting mail when required.
- Ability to make appointments in GPMS
Requirements
- Must have experience in a medical office setting preferably in Cardiology
- Must have the ability to multitask
- Computer knowledge is a must
- Experience with an EMR system is a plus
- Must be wellspoken friendly and outgoing

*If you are hired and assuming your employment is in good standing you will receive the signon bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire you will be required to repay the full amount of your signon bonus.
