The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking experienced professionals for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems Manager position. This role involves leveraging ERP expertise to streamline operations and oversee QA support for the countywide integrated business system.
This position plans organizes directs and coordinates the business process operation support and improvement of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system across multiple functional areas such as financial/accounting procurement payroll budget and human resources; develops requirements policies and procedures to guide ERP system transition and longterm support
The Well Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following
Knowledge:
Principles and practices of human capital management payroll retirement benefits accounting and financial functional areas
Implementation configuration deployment of ERP systems (e.g. PeopleSoft Oracle SAP CGI)
Principles and practices of ERP system functionality database tables structure design testing and analysis
Processes and practices in developing technical systems documentation including documenting and detailing functional and technical specifications
Business Intelligence (BI) practices and related technologies (e.g. SAP Business Objects Microsoft Power BI)
Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint and other MS Office applications
Federal state and local laws ordinances codes and regulations related to finance procurement budget payroll benefits retirement and human capital/human resources management
Appropriate methods of training group facilitation and instructional techniques
Fundamental concepts of employment laws codes and regulations including EEO FLSA FMLA and Cal/OSHA and applicable provisions of collective bargaining agreements

Required Education and ExperienceEducation:A bachelors degree from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Experience:Five years of experience coordinating ERP system implementation and performing system testing in one or more of the following functional areas: payroll human resources/human capital and/or finance including two years of lead experience.
Additional Requirements:Experience implementing ERP systems in a California public sector (e.g. K12 school district community college county office of education) agency is preferred. A valid California drivers license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites may be required.
Hybrid remote schedules may be available.
