Permit Assistant
About the Position
We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Permitting Assistant to provide comprehensive support for our Permit Manager. This role requires a proactive individual that possesses excellent communication and problemsolving skills who can work independently. The ideal candidate will be techsavvy possess strong multitasking abilities and thrive in a fastpaced setting.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Excel Sheet Maintenance
- Assist in notetaking during meetings accurately enter data into relevant systems prepare and organize various permit applications and supporting documents.
- Maintain professional written and verbal communication with internal teams applicants and external agencies.
- Monitor the status of meetings permits and assigned tasks ensuring deadlines are consistently met. Proactively identify and address potential delays.
- Identify and resolve challenges proactively; adapt quickly to changing priorities and unexpected obstacles.
- Conduct research to gather information on local regulations requirements and best practices related to permitting.
- Assist in coordinating and managing the teams calendar optimizing scheduling for maximum efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proactive and selfsufficient capable of working independently in a remote setting without close supervision.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information and procedures.
- Personable and collaborative with a strong desire to assist others.
- Demonstrated problemsolving and analytical skills.
