The Opportunity:
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in managing state aid programs and coordinating federal/state work study programs As the primary contact for packaging quality control youll handle daytoday problem resolution and oversee work study study abroad revision requests and TEACH Grant processing. Youll also act as a liaison with various campus partners and departments participating in both internal and external working committees.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing financial aid advisors and ensuring personnel management.
Supporting R2T4 processing including obtaining certification through NASFAA U Online Return of Title IV Funds course.
Upholding the offices vision mission and values as well as the institutions mission and goals.
Occasional travel and weekend work related to outreach activities.
Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $4942.10 $7567.00 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelors degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible relevant experience which has included at least one (1) year of managerial experience. A Masters degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearforyear and experience can be tailored to fit the specific organizational entity/directorial assignment. Positions may require applicable licensure and/or certification.
Tangible and demonstrated experience in enrollment management or student services programs including a working knowledge of and experience in the development maintenance and/or implementation of automated financial aid processes as part of an integrated student information system.
Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying laws rules policies and procedures.
Demonstrated computer software skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office programs such as: Outlook Word Excel and Access.
Demonstrated firsthand experience in customer service and familiarity with working with diverse populations.
Developed effective interpersonal skills in all areas of written and verbal communication including background with small and large group presentations
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends/evenings.
Exceptional problemsolving project management decisionmaking and visionary skills.
Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in a relevant field.
Experience working in a financial aid operation in higher education.
Experience in strategic planning formulation design implementation and tracking.
Oral and written fluency in the English and Spanish languages. Experience creating/auditing administrative procedures and internal controls.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team.
Experience with PeopleSoft.
