Job Description
Position Title:
Research Scientist TemporaryAppointment Type:
Professional & ScientificRequired Minimum Qualifications:
At least 3 years of Research and Development experience in lithiumion batteries experience with academic and industrial combined and demonstrated proficiency with electrochemical station (e.g. Gamry Reference 3000) and associated data analysis software (e.g. Gamry EChem Analyst)Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency with scanning electron microscopyJob Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Design plan develop research methodologies and conduct experiments for the assigned research projects.
- Collect experimental data implement analysis on the results and interpret the data based on the methodologies of research projects.
- Report the progress to the principal investigator (PI) and suggest approaches to optimizing the experiment quality and improving results.
- Review the progress of the projects and assist with the draft of manuscripts for publications.
- Provide training to junior graduate students on the operation of lab equipment.
