Job Description

Job Title:Occupational Therapist Paediatric Cerebral Palsy
Banding:Band 6
Location: Harlow Essex
Working hours:Fulltime

Rate:40K 55K
Duration: Permanent Ongoing

We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our esteemed clients team in Harlow. Essex. Based in a worldrenowned paediatric therapy clinic offering the best and most innovative paediatric therapy tools and methods. As an Occupational Therapist you will provide skilful intervention to infants toddlers children and adolescents with cerebral palsy. Key Responsibilities:

  • Treatment of motor deficits and functional impairments or difficulties primarily in the paediatric population.
  • Utilise multiple frames of reference to inform practice including but not limited to: neurodevelopmental developmental biomechanical sensory integration motor learning cognitive and rehabilitation.
  • Patient/caregiver training in the use of assistive technology devices mobility devices orthotic or prosthetic devices.
  • Create a safe professional and supportive environment where clients families and colleagues feel empowered to succeed.
  • Working as part of the multidisciplinary team to advance a clients needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC registered.
  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Post qualification experience in paediatrics
  • Good physical health and fitness as therapeutic handling is manually intensive.
