Information Systems and Cyber Division (ISCD)staff couple the latest in information system technologies such as elastic compute clouds containerization microservices realtime operating systems and visualization frameworks with expertise in cyber security software architecture software engineering data science Artificial Intelligence process improvement and software development to deliver responsive resilient highperformance software intensive systems to our Intelligence Community DoD and civilian customers.

The Engineering Applications Department (EAD) develops a wide variety of innovative tools and applications to support civil commercial and national security space systems. From virtual and augmented reality to web cloud and desktop visualization; EAD evaluates and creates unique visual experiences that present data and analysis to key decisionmakers.

Work Model

This is a fulltime position based in Colorado Spring CO or Chantilly VA offering a hybrid work model that combines 3 regular onsite workdays and remote flexibility as the business needs allow.

What Youll Be Doing

• Support a wide variety of Civil Systems Group and Space Systems Command ground system customers through fullstack software development
• Work on software teams using web frameworks to build RESTful backend web services
• Build user interfaces advanced visualizations to enhance data analysis and decisionmaking processes
• Engage with stakeholders including the Intelligence Community DoD and civilian customers to understand and meet their requirements
• Foster innovation by staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices

What You Need to be Successful Member of Technical Staff System Software Engineering

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related STEM field
• 2 years of experience in frontend development
• Demonstrated skill in in objectoriented programming languages and modern web frameworks. Proficiency in C Java Python and React is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment standard processes
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Willing to travel occasionally to customer sites domestically approximately 5%
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

How You Can Stand Out

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:

• 4 years of experience in developing software solutions for engineering or scientific applications
• Experience with rapid prototyping tools and methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of customers and staff
• Knowledge of computer graphics
• Previous experience working with aerospace or defense industry clients
• Current and active TopSecret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information access TS/SCI government clearance
