Now Hiring: Manager Financial & Statutory Reporting!

Are you an experienced financial leader looking for the next step in your career Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Manager Financial & Statutory Reporting to oversee financial reporting statutory compliance and operational efficiency!

Location: Rev Hugh Cooper Admin Center Remote within NM Work Schedule: Fulltime Exempt Day Shift

What you will do:

  • Oversee monthend GAAP reporting statutory compliance and medical cost analysis.

  • Lead financial process improvements and special projects.

  • Supervise reporting operations and drive regulatory accuracy.

  • Manage team selection development and performance

  • Maintain strong relationships with leadership and finance teams.

Ideal Candidate:

  • CPA license preferred
  • 45 years of healthcare accounting or related experience
  • Management/Supervisor experience required
  • Background in healthcare or public accounting preferred
  • Local to Albuquerque NM preferred but open to remote candidates

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required in Accounting or related field.
  • Four to five years of health care accounting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for the selection training development and evaluation of employees.
  • Performs the daytoday management of employees to meet departmental goals create an environment which fosters employee involvement growth satisfaction and ability to function effectively with colleagues.
  • Maintains relationships with all levels of leadership and staff to coordinate activities to provide necessary education to supply input and feedback and function as a subjectmatter expert for the reporting functions of the Finance department.
  • Manages plans and coordinates the monthly closing process general ledger reporting and analysis and the preparation of monthly balance sheet and income statement. Includes the verification and authentication of information received from the other sources adjusting and reclassifying journal entries and the preparation and distribution of various reports.
  • Ensures that monthend quarterend and yearend financial reports are accurate analyzed and reviewed as it related to medical costs.
  • Responsible for the development planning coordination and supervision of statutory reporting desk audits of medical vendors and other required reporting such as Medical Loss Ratio reporting.
  • Responsible for adhoc projects as needed.
  • Performs other functions as required.
