Position Overview
Were looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our West Coast Permitting team. In this role youll support Project Managers in delivering seamless permitting solutions across a variety of commercial construction projects. Youll play a key role in keeping projects on track communicating with municipal agencies and maintaining momentum from start to finish.
What Youll Do
- Assist in the preparation and submission of permit packages
- Perform due diligence create permit checklists and update project tracking tools
- Act as a liaison with city departments and monitor project statuses
- Maintain documentation including meeting minutes and permit logs
- Support project progress through scheduling quality control and followups
- Serve as backup to Project Managers when needed
What Youll Bring
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction administration or project coordination
- Degree in Construction Management Architecture Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Familiarity with permit submittals building/zoning codes and reading construction drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Experience working with municipal agencies and permitting portals
- Knowledge of NorCal jurisdictional processes
Work Environment & Schedule
- This position is based in Beverly Hills CA and is hybrid.
- Standard schedule is MondayFriday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional overtime.
- Minimal travel required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $55000 $60000 annually based on knowledge skills and experience.
