Job Description
Role: SAP BASIS Administrator
Locations:
- Purchase NY
- New York City NY
- Morristown NJ
- Charlotte NC
- Conshohocken PA
Mode of Hire:
- FullTime Employee (FTE) only for USA residents

System Changes and Performance:
- Review and perform required system changes solution design server architecture and performance analysis.
- Analyze process gaps and finetune as needed.

Service Delivery:
- Ensure delivery within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and agreed milestones by following best practices and processes.
- Observe Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for continuous service improvement.

Team Interaction:
- Interact with other teams (functional ABAP) to understand functional/technical requirements and solve issues in system administration.

Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the SAP HANA application implementation team and the infrastructure team to ensure proper implementation sustainable support and peak performance.

Maintenance and Administration:
- Execute common SAP and industrystandard daily/weekly/monthly maintenance and BASIS administration procedures for SAP HANA.
- Install upgrade and monitor SAP HANA Databases / HANA Database Cockpit in a scaleup and scaleout environment.
- Set up threetier HANA System Replication.
- Troubleshoot HANA memory bottlenecks tune performance and manage workload.
- Establish implement and test disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for SAP HANA.
- Configure HANA Single SignOn (SSO) / Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML).
- Support SAP Bank Analyzer and the BW HANA environment.
- Set up Change and Transport System Plus (CTS) for HANA transports.
- Implement and maintain Solution Manager monitoring alerts configure object metrics for Application Server HANA Database (HDB) and Operating System (OS) level.
- Indepth technical skills in managing SAP systems HANA databases and integration interfaces.
- Experience with reviewing and coordinating impact analysis on application requirements including functional security integration performance quality and operations requirements.
- Ability to translate requirements into technical architecture and system/server configuration requirements.
- Provide input into final decisions regarding hardware network products system software and security.
- Experience in automation in the SAP on Cloud space Google Cloud Platform (GCP) deployments and HighAvailability Disaster Recovery.
- Support of SAP systems running on High Availability platforms capable of troubleshooting system startup and performance issues.
- Experience in L1 administration of Red Hat and SUSE Linux.
- Working knowledge of SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability cluster.
- Experience in configuration and maintenance of Solution Manager Change Request Management (CHARM).
- BusinessObjects (BOBJ) administration experience including configuring new systems and moving content between them.
- Prior experience with role synchronization with BW4HANA and BusinessObjects Central Management Console (BO CMC) / Business Intelligence (BI) tool administration.
- BW4HANA administration support experience Smart Data Access (SDA) BusinessObjects integration and security expertise.
- Ability to enforce security policies and access controls.
- Expertlevel experience in Eclipse HANA Studio and HANA Cockpit including role creation and development content import/export via HANA Studio and promoting changes across the HDB landscape.
- Knowledge of web services based on SAP NetWeaver SAP interfaces and SAP solutions.
- Knowledge and expertise with emerging technologies such as S/4 HANA Cloud Mobility and Internet of Things (IoT).
- Ability to contribute to team objectives.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Selfmotivated team player committed able to work independently and adaptable to a changing environment.
- Good problemsolving skills able to prioritize objectives among many conflicting needs.
- Capable of advocating a course of action and pursuing it consistently but flexible and responsive to dynamic situations.
- Experience with the creation and enforcement of production operation methodologies.
- 8 years in IT management with a background in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or similar foundational technology platform discipline.
- 10 years of SAP experience preferably in a global implementation of SAP Financial Services Reinsurance (FSRI) Financial Services Collections and Disbursements (FSCD) and Financial Accounting (FICO) modules.
- 7 years of experience as an ABAP Developer or BASIS administrator.
- Bachelors degree in computer science; masters degree preferred.
- SAP Certifications and/or at least 7 years of experience.
