Job Description
Job Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer
Location: Work From Home
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing UI and API automation testing solutions. You will work closely with Agile teams to ensure software quality and contribute to the automation frameworks growth. Your expertise in Playwright C# and API automation will play a critical role in enhancing testing efficiency and improving product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain automation frameworks for UI and API testing using Playwright C# and REST API automation.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure thorough test coverage for new features and enhancements.
- Implement BDD testing using SpecFlow with NUnit.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger to validate functionality and performance.
- Participate in sprint planning and daily standups as part of an Agile/Scrum team.
- Utilize git tools (e.g. Bitbucket) for version control.
- Manage test cases and defects using test management tools (e.g. qTest).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to the testing process.
- Ensure test automation and testing practices are aligned with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
- Maintain and improve the efficiency and accuracy of test scripts ensuring highquality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 810 years of proven experience in test automation particularly with UI Automation using Playwright and API automation.
- Strong proficiency in C# programming language.
- Experience in BDD with SpecFlow using NUnit.
- Solid experience in REST API automation with tools like HTTP Client (C# or Rest Client.
- Proven experience working within Agile methodologies preferably SAFe Agile.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and Swagger.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira or equivalent.
- Experience with test management tools such as qTest or equivalent.
- Proficiency with git tools like Bitbucket or equivalent.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloudbased testing tools and environments.
- Certification in relevant technologies or testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing for APIs.
