Job Description

Overview
The Business Development Manager CASA (Current Account Savings Account) plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of banking organizations. This position is fundamentally responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase customer acquisition and retention while ensuring the profitability of CASA products. The manager will act as a liaison between various departments and the marketplace identifying trends and opportunities that align with the banks objectives. By fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders the Business Development Manager will contribute to building a robust portfolio of CASA customers enhancing the banks reputation and achieving overall business goals. The role demands a proactive approach combining analytical skills and a deep understanding of customer needs to drive effective strategies in a competitive financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies focused on CASA products.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for product promotion and customer acquisition.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns for CASA offerings.
  • Analyze competitor offerings and market trends to keep the banks products competitive.
  • Prepare financial and performance reports to track progress against business goals.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams in achieving CASArelated projects and initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting customer satisfaction or operational efficiency.
  • Develop training programs for staff regarding CASA product features and benefits.
  • Monitor regulations and compliance issues related to CASA products.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on CASA products within the organization.
  • Attend industry events to network and promote the banks offerings.
  • Manage key accounts to ensure longterm success and loyalty.
  • Identify potential risk factors and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Provide strategic input for new product development or enhancements.
  • Perform regular assessments of progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Finance or a related field.
  • Master s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales preferably in the banking sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding customer bases.
  • Strong understanding of CASA products and banking operations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make datadriven decisions.
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various teams and departments.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and industry standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend events.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and project management experience.
  • Selfmotivated with a goaloriented approach.
