Job Description

This is a remote position.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Analyst/Planner plays a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and execution of meat production operations. This position is responsible for analysing production data coordinating schedules and ensuring compliance with export standards and customer specifications. The role bridges production logistics quality assurance and sales teams to optimise throughput minimise waste and meet demand forecasts.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Planning:

  • Develop and maintain shortterm and longterm production schedules based on sales forecasts customer orders and inventory levels.

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets and export deadlines.

  • Monitor progress of production schedules and adjust plans as needed due to changes in demand or operational constraints.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyse production data to identify trends inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

  • Create and generate production reports for senior management from identified inefficiencies/trends.

  • Support decisionmaking by providing cost yield and throughput analyses.

Inventory Management:

  • Collaborate with inventory control to maintain good stock levels and all facilities.

  • Monitor waste and suggest improvements to minimise loss.

  • Identify and monitor daily production levels ensuring all product produced moves through each area as expected and identify anomalies and inform managers for correction of anomalies.

Export Compliance:

  • Ensure all production plans align with export market requirements and international regulations (e.g. halal USDA China certifications) in regards to allocation of product codes and specifications.

Crossfunctional Coordination:

  • Support Sales with production requirements and delivery sales order information from email and ensuring all correct details are entered into company systems to enable production loadout and scheduling to be done accurately.

  • Emailing of all sales order confirmations in a timely manner for approval and then follow on emails to customers.



Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive mindset with continuous improvement focus.
  • Knowledge of HACCP GMP and export certification requirements.
  • Ability to be flexible and manage change.
