Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled DDD Architect with extensive expertise in business domain modeling and technical solutioning. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in applying DomainDriven Design (DDD) methodologies to architect modern scalable platforms and microservices ecosystems. This role demands strong crossfunctional collaboration skills superior technical expertise and a proactive drive to modernize and align business and technical architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the identification and modeling of functional domains and drive DomainDriven Design (DDD) methodology across crossfunctional teams.
Engage with business leaders to understand and define business capabilities events processes and domain taxonomies.
Conduct event storming workshops and translate business processes into technical solutions involving aggregates bounded contexts APIs and microservices.
Architect and design blueprints for both current and target states using C4 modeling and other architectural diagramming standards.
Collaborate with Business Solution Application Process Data and Technology Architects to deliver comprehensive enterprisegrade architecture.
Design and develop APIs and microservices aligned with domain boundaries ensuring scalability modularity and resilience.
Create detailed actionable architecture documents and diagrams to guide engineering teams.
Drive platform modernization efforts that span multiple product streams and organizational domains.
Maintain alignment with business objectives while developing technical solutions ensuring business value is realized.
Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams in DDD practices microservices architecture and APIfirst design.
Champion the usage of architectural best practices tools and methodologies across technology teams.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of handson experience in DomainDriven Design (DDD) architecture and methodologies.
Strong command over all architectural layers including Business Process Solution Application Data and Technology architectures.
Expertise in designing developing and deploying APIs and Microservices.
Solid knowledge of application programming using at least one major language such as Java.
Handson experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP preferred).
Deep understanding of database design and management (both SQL and NoSQL databases).
Skilled in generating current and target state architectural blueprints including C4 Model Diagrams and other DDD diagramming standards.
Exceptional communication skills able to effectively communicate technical ideas and business alignment at all organizational levels.
Proficient in facilitating event storming sessions stakeholder workshops and technical solution design sessions.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with an ability to think both strategically and tactically.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF Zachman etc.).
Exposure to CQRS Event Sourcing and EventDriven Architectures.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Agile/Scrum experience particularly in Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe) environments.
