Partner Staffing on behalf of our Client. we are seeking a Civil Municipal Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Utilities Engineer to join our Calgarybased team. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled and solutionsoriented professional with experience in the design and construction of underground municipal infrastructure. You will work on a variety of civil engineering projects from concept through detailed design to construction support and dedicated to delivering highquality engineering services for complex municipal projects focused on water sanitary and stormwater infrastructure with a specialization in underground utility installations. Collaborating with a diverse range of clients including municipalities provincial governments telecommunications providers and private utility owners.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Plan design and coordinate water distribution sanitary sewer and stormwater management systems for municipal and utility clients.
- Prepare engineering drawings technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis for water and sewer networks.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and assist with permitting processes.
- Perform field investigations and site inspections during construction.
- Lead or support preparation of tender packages and construction documents.
- Liaise with clients contractors and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical quality control processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering (Master s considered an asset).
- Professional Engineer (.) designation in Alberta or eligibility to obtain it.
- 3 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater municipal engineering.
- Strong understanding of underground utility systems trenchless technologies and applicable municipal standards.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D InfoWater/InfoWorks or similar.
- Familiarity with municipal and provincial standards (City of Calgary Alberta Transportation etc.).
- Excellent communication report writing and project coordination skills.
