WHO YOULL WORK WITH

The Transportation team will provide support to the NIKE Distribution network for major components of yard management (Drop yard Hosting/shuttling trailers trailer rental providers LSPs detention (domestic OTR trailers) and provide reporting and visibility for Yard management costs. Coordinate the movement of products from DC to DC moves for coloading and multistop shipping issues. Work closely with Transportation OPS Manager to identify and target LSPs that deliver premium service. Sr. Analyst will also partner with the Middle Mile Capabilities Development team to provide input to develop Transportation network solutions that meet the current and future needs of NIKE and our customers. The Transportation OPS (DC) Team will support multiple businesses and customers for NIKE including wholesale digital () and NIKE retail stores by partnering with the Regional Logistics Distribution Centers and LSP Management teams to develop and maintain

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Analyst of Transportation at Nike. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge insight analytical skills and be open to different perspectives from peers and stakeholders. Evaluate the Transportation procedure and systems cross functionally identifying inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement. Manage all transportation matters including but not limited to the execution direction and coordination of all transportation within the Nike organization. Developing a communication process to collaborate with customers and update key stakeholders on policy changes. Implement innovative costeffective solutions that allow for a more efficient and streamlined method. Amplify product workflow by analyzing and evolving supply chain plans that affect production distribution and inventory.

• Bachelors degree in business or a related field (e.g. Supply Chain Management Logistics Operations Management Computer Science Data Science or Information Quality) or equivalent combination of education experience and training.
• 5 years of experience in direct support of transportation/Transportation operations in a Retail/ECommerce supply chain environment and use of project management tools and methodologies is required.
• Proficiency with Excel Access Word PowerPoint and Database Management
• 3 years experience within an Operations/Distribution/Transportation environment supervising evaluating mentoring and developing team members and managing workload.
• Experience working across all levels from frontline associates to seniorlevel leaders.
• Experience working in a fastpaced highly collaborative and teambased environment

WHAT YOULL WORK ON

The Transportation Operations (Outbound) team will manage all DCrelated Transportation Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) capacity and service issues (equipment noshows). You will facilitate the flow of information between different stakeholders (Carriers/DCs/Terminals/Stores) and resolve any potential risk to customers. In addition to coordinating the movement of products you will play a vital role in supporting the management of Nike rental assets keeping detailed records of vehicle maintenance to ensure they remain operational for daily and business use and repairs are resolved quickly to sustain a constant flow of assets.

• Accountable for ontime pickup and delivery and carrier performance for outbound shipments from assigned DCs
• Escalation points for ongoing DC carrier issues (carrier capacity noshows); solve for delivery exceptions
• Manage dwell detention and truck order not used to reduce cost.
• Provide proactive updates to customers shippers and receivers for any shipment.
• Lost / Stolen recovery of Nike assets and/or product
• Create monthly reports on overall performance and the targets achieved.
• Manage & support the execution of Transportation plans for shipping peak season and monthly/quarterly/yearend
• Proactively identify opportunities to minimize expedites
• Implement and develop Carrier Compliance programs
• Manage daytoday operational support for assigned DC(s) to assess equipment needs and ensure equipment is on hand to meet DC demand
• Conduct deep dive on all payment approval requests
• Manage support for escalation issues as they relate to all yard management activities (shuttling hosteling and rental trailer capacity needs) for assigned DCs
• Escalate YMS compliance issues to the assigned Memphis DC Operations team for resolution
• Proactively identify DC transportation cost savings opportunities (e.g. mode optimization backhaul opportunities RTV programs) and raise to appropriate transportation leaders or crossfunctional partners (e.g. DC)
• Reduce transportation chargebacks and support various customer carrier initiatives
• Identify develop and implement continuous improvement activities to improve operating metrics and performance specifically related to cost service and compliance (e.g. route optimization carrier selection backhauls and trailer loading)
• Provide operational inputs to the LSP Management team to support carrier business reviews (QBRs MBRs) & scorecards
