Elementary School Psychologist Emotional Support ProgramAssistant Director of Special Education / Building PrincipalThe School Psychologist Emotional Support Program is responsible for the oversight and implementation of a specialized program designed to support students with emotional disabilities. This role involves delivering specially designed instruction facilitating skillbuilding interventions conducting psychological evaluations providing consultation to staff and serving as a liaison among students families and service providers to promote emotional regulation behavioral success and academic engagement.Key Responsibilities:Program Coordination and OversightLead the development and implementation of individualized and groupbased supports for students with emotional disabilities.Monitor the fidelity and effectiveness of interventions and adjust programming as needed based on data and student progress.Coordinate with school and districtlevel staff to align emotional support programming with IEP goals and district policies.Psychological Evaluation and AssessmentConduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students within the emotional support program as part of initial evaluations reevaluations and ongoing eligibility determinations.Administer and interpret cognitive behavioral socialemotional and adaptive assessments in alignment with state and federal guidelines.Full time benefited employees at the Danvers Public Schools are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package offered through the Town of Danvers.
