We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded Senior Manager Regional Marketing (Africa) to lead our marketing efforts across Africa with a particular focus on Nigeria as a key market in the region. In this pivotal role you will drive regional marketing initiatives that support client acquisition engagement and conversionplaying a central part in optimizing our client onboarding funnel.
You will combine a deep understanding of digital marketing with a strong grasp of local market dynamics. This role requires a proactive datadriven marketer who thrives in crossfunctional environments and can translate commercial objectives into actionable marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute dataled marketing plans that support the companys commercial objectives across Africa with Nigeria as a priority. Tailor campaigns to local market needs while aligning with the global brand and product strategy.
Commercial Focus: Collaborate closely with regional sales product and partnerships teams to ensure marketing activities directly support pipeline growth conversion rates and overall business impact.
Onboarding Funnel Optimization: Partner with product design and marketing ops to improve the client onboarding journey. Use data and user insights to identify friction points and optimize conversion paths.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Act as the marketing lead for the region working closely with internal teams across Product Payments Compliance Sales and Partnerships to ensure alignment and efficiency in gotomarket execution.
Regional Advocacy: Act as the internal champion for the African region providing recommendations and updates to leadership and internal teams. Youll share market insights campaign performance and recommendations to improve relevance and growth in the region
Qualifications :
Essential:
Proven experience in a regional marketing or growthfocused role ideally within Africa and with deep exposure to the Nigerian market.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels tools and strategiesespecially around acquisition and lifecycle marketing.
Commercially minded with a track record of aligning marketing with business goals and measurable impact.
Experience working crossfunctionally with product sales and technical teams.
Ability to analyse funnel metrics and user behavior to drive marketing improvements.
Excellent communication stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
Desirable:
Qualification (BA degree or equivalent professional experience.
Working experience within a Brokerage environment.
