Job Description

Do you thrive on organizing data solving problems and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes Were looking for a detailoriented and proactive HOA Accounting Administrator to join our team and ensure the financial operations of our homeowners associations run with accuracy and efficiency. This is NOT a remote position it is an office position in our Grand Junction location.


In this role youll be responsible for maintaining financial records processing transactions reconciling bank accounts and supporting the HOA and Property Management teams. Your knack for numbers precision and organization will be key to ensuring smooth daytoday accounting operations.

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the HOA and property management departments.
  • Accurately prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
  • Reconcile accounts and bank statements on a regular basis.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements for HOAs and individual property owners.
  • Enter daily transactions (accounts receivable and accounts payable) into accounting systems.
  • Assist internal staff with financial information and support.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounting records or documentation.
  • Compile activity summaries and reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies accounting standards and applicable laws.
  • Stay up to date with accounting best practices and system updates.
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance; experience in HOA or property management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
  • Proficiency with accounting software databases and Microsoft Office (especially Excel Quickbooks and Yardi Genesis).
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and preparing financial reports.
  • High level of accuracy attention to detail and organization.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive attitude and teamoriented mindset.
