Job Description

Are you ready to lead and elevate a highperforming sales team In this impactful role youll be at the forefront of building and driving the Country Sales strategytaking ownership of everything from establishing strong key opinion leader relationships to leading a dynamic team toward peak performance. This role offers strategic scope leadership growth and the chance to shape the future of sales in a thriving market.  

 

Key responsibilities

  • Develops country performance objectives sales programs and goals in close collaboration with Marketing Medical and Market Access functions as well as in partnership with relevant EMEA teams.
  • Assumes Sales responsibility for all sales including the development of sales programsrecruitingtrainingremuneration and motivation of the sales force
  • Designs and implements policies and procedures for the functions within his responsibility
  • Cooperates closely with Marketing planning and commercialization of new products
  • Coordinates in close cooperation with Marketing presales and sales efforts at local and international meetings held in Germany
  • Develops and maintains familiarity with industry trends legislative changes and competitive environment and keeps management informed
  • Responsible for the sales part in the budget process in close communication and coordination with GM and Marketing 

Qualifications :

  • Degree in Business Administration Sales Marketing or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical sales management preferably in ophthalmic pharmaceuticals 
  • Solid understanding of the German preferably the Western European ophthalmic pharmaceutical markets including categorization of target customers proven knowledge of competition and trends concerning of expansion and growth the implementation and customization of business processes and ITsystems to the changing business situation is necessary
  • Proven track record of successful leadership in sales or business development roles
  • Indepth knowledge of sales processes techniques and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence others
  • Fluent in German and excellent command of English in speaking and writing
