What You Will Do:
The Appian Developers at Guidehouse design develop test and deploy Appian applications for our clients. Our developers work with a team of experienced developers to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
- Design and develop Appian applications according to client requirements
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design develop and test Appian applications
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand client needs and requirements
- Ensure Appian applications are scalable reliable and performant
- Troubleshoot and debug Appian applications
- Stay uptodate with the latest Appian features and capabilities
- Participate in Appian certification programs and maintain Appian certification
- Create technical documentation and user guides
What You Will Need:
- US Citizenship is contractually required for this position
- US equivalent Bachelors degree
- Ability to achieve Appian certifications upon hire
- Minimum ONE (1) year of professional and Appian development experience
- Understanding of Appian platform including Appian SAIL Process Modeler and Rules
- Experience working in Agile development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Interpersonal skills including teamwork facilitation and negotiation
- Understanding of Appian integrations with 3rd party applications
- Clientfacing written and oral communications skills relationship focus and strong technical and business acumen
- Selected candidate must be able to work in hybrid environment
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Active Appian Associate Developer certifications
- Experience with Java SQL and web services
- Work experience on a software development project in a federal government setting or with Federal Acquisition Management
- An early adopter mindset for new Appian platform features
