The Supervisor Manufacturing Engineering identifies develops prioritizes and implements manufacturing initiatives and key business objectives that deliver strategic value and financial success through individual analysis and planning as well as in collaboration with manufacturing leaders across the organization. The position is responsible for supervising developing and mentoring the manufacturing engineering team in pursuit of operational excellence.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING(% of Time)

Model the way. Provide supervisory people leadership to develop and mentor team of manufacturing engineers to meet business and personal development objectives. Facilitate an environment that delivers results and supports learning and growth. Develop and coach to a standard approach for problem solving designing optimizing and improving processes in manufacturing with the goal of improving business objectives. (40%)

Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify potential improvements. Partner with manufacturing leaders to problem solve and implement or direct implementation of sustainable solutions to existing manufacturing problems. (30%)

Develop long range manufacturing strategy and plans with the manufacturing team and senior leaders. Lead facilitate and coordinate new manufacturing processes as needed. Research current and emerging manufacturing industry technology and trends to transform operations. (30%)

This job operates in a professional office environment where standard office equipment such as computers phones printer/scanner etc. are frequently used.

TRAVEL

This position requires domestic and international travel up to 20% of the time.

This fulltime exempt position is located in Columbus OH

RELOCATION

Relocation is not available for this position.

Pay

$82500.00 $132000.00 / year
