Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and efficient General Assistant to join our team in Huntingdon United Kingdom. As a General Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of our operations ensuring smooth daytoday functioning and excellent customer service.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guests needs and requests in a friendly and professional manner
- Serve food and beverages to guests maintaining a high standard of presentation and quality
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient operations and contribute to a positive work environment
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas including kitchen and dining spaces
- Assist with general administrative tasks and support various departments as needed
- Comply with health and safety regulations and food service guidelines
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively
- Support team members during busy periods and assist with additional tasks as required
- Contribute to the organisations goals by demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills
Qualifications :
- Genuine passion for customer service and hospitality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment
- Adaptability and problemsolving skills to handle various situations effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Efficient time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Basic computer literacy for handling administrative tasks
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (desirable)
- Previous minimum 1 yrs experience in a similar role particularly in the food service industry (preferred)
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role
