JOB TITLE:Athletic Game Supervisor
CLASSIFICATION:Extra Comp
SUPERVISOR: Building Principal
GENERAL STATEMENT OF AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
Under the direction of the building principal or designee the Game Supervisor is responsible for supervising students and the public in noninstructional settings throughout the school site. This position is recommended preparation for administrative candidates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises and controls student and public behavior on the grounds and in the restrooms and ensures compliance with school district and law policies and procedures.
- May provide First Aid assistance within the scope of district policies.
- Keep school officials informed of the safety conditions of campus equipment and facilities.
- Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with administration coworkers students staff and the public.
- Keep school officials informed of supervision issues and interventions taken with staff students and the public.
- Assists coaches and school officials with athletic game management.
- Be present at the assigned event during assigned times but no less than the beginning of the event until the conclusion of the event and the areas is cleared of students and spectators.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
- Performs any other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
- Previous experience supervising children is desirable.
- Those with teaching certificates and in administrative training program will be given preference.
