The Director of Graduate Enrollment for the College of Education (COE) is responsible for planning and executing recruiting strategies for all graduate programs for the College. The Director of Graduate Enrollment serves as a representative of Lipscomb University to prospective students under the guidance and direction of the Executive Director for Graduate Enrollment.
Job Details:
- Manage and execute recruitment efforts for graduate programs within the college
- Represent Lipscomb Universitys Graduate COE programs to prospective graduate students through college fairs and events; including evening and weekend events as needed.
- Assist with the coordination of and participation in on and off campus visits meetings and information sessions with prospective students and partner organizations.
- Work closely with faculty and administrators within the college to facilitate communication with prospective students.
- Work closely with other departments on campus including but not limited to financial aid business office university marketing and registrar.
- Responsible for identifying contacting and maintaining relationships with prospective students; meet candidates describe programs; advising and facilitating student applications; assisting applicants in completing the admissions process.
- Communicate effectively with students in person as well as via telephone email online chats and text.
- Respond to and follow up with inquiries from prospective students and applicants.
- Meet candidates describe programs and encourage application and enrollment.
- Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
- Learn and effectively work within our database system (Slate) and recruitment platforms to track inquiries applications acceptances enrollments etc. as well as communicate with students.
- Build and maintain relationships with undergraduate institutions area business and associations and other organizations. This will require regular written phone email contact as well as an ongoing and regular visits and call schedule.
- Conduct and/or participate in other customer relations and recruitment activities as required.

Education: Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred.
Experience: Three to five years of experience in recruitment graduate enrollment sales or marketing preferred (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
