Job Description
NOTICE OF CERTIFIED STAFF VACANCY
POSITION:Intervention Specialist Rossford Elementary School
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid and appropriate State of Ohio K12 Intervention License
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Genuine desire to support efforts to achieve the district vison: Preparing inspiring and empowering all students to achieve success
- Experience with Ohios Extended Learning Standards (OLSE) as well as inclusion and coteaching
- Training and/or experience collaborating with teachers to modify general education coursework
- Experience with writing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Experience with functional behavioral assessments and behavioral improvement plans
- Training in a ResearchBased Reading Instruction Program preferred
DUTIES:
- Effectively collaborate with colleagues parents and other stakeholders
- Serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as responsible citizens
- Fulfill responsibilities as outlined in applicable job description(s) including other duties as assigned by the Principal Director of Student Services or Superintendent of Schools
