Sesame University was inspired by and created upon the foundation of Sesame Places mission to help the children of our communities. Since 1969 families have looked to Sesame Street to help their kids grow smarter stronger and kinder. Sesame Place wants to help more than just the children in our communities grow. Our mission as Sesame University is to provide an opportunity to gain hands on experience within the theme park and hospitality industry that allows for the identification growth and development of future talent.

What Youll Experience:
Exposure to the theme park industry which includes many departments and other subindustry experiences such as hospitality/customer service management operations revenue and general structure leadership and discipline of a workforce.
Handson and realworld experience for resume enhancement
Seminars with industry experts to help build upon knowledge of the theme park industry and its subindustries
Customer service skills and deescalation tactics including how to best resolve and deal with customer scenarios of all levels
Gaining and building upon skills such as leadership communication decision making timemanagement etc.
Networking opportunities and newfound connections

What else is important:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be enrolled in or attending a college/university
Can interact with guests in a fastpaced environment
Outstanding communication abilities
Must be able to lift push pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be willing to comply with all SEA wardrobe and grooming guidelines and other employee standards as stated in the handbook
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather
Must provide flexible and consistent availability (including nights weekends and holidays)
Must consistently practice safe working habits and accident prevention
Ability to successfully complete all company required legal documentation and trainings within an established timeline
This internship is a 10week estimated timeframe: early start and program extensions are available!
Start: June 2nd 2025 (Orientation)
End: August 11th 2025
