Job Description
LMSD is hiring a Supervisor of Special Education. This position will support students districtwide andprimarily focus on students grades 46.
PA Certificate in Supervisor of Special Education (PK12) or Principal Certificate (PK12) required; Masters degree or higher in education or special education with 5 years of prior administrative experience preferred. Proven strength in leadership interpersonal collaborative and communication skills required as well as demonstrated depth of knowledge of state and federal laws. Experience with curriculum/PA standards and staff development preferred. Strong organizational time management and computer skills required.
This is a fullyear LMOSA (Act 93) position with compensation and benefits consistent with the LMOSA agreement.
