Evaluate students develop and implement individualized therapy plans provide direct services and supervise a Speech Language Pathology Assistant following Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education regulations and ASHA Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive speech language communication and pragmatic evaluations using formal and informal assessment assessment data to identify students strengths and areas of in eligibility determinations and IEP development detailed and timely evaluation reports and progress and implement individualized speechlanguage therapy plans aligned with students IEP direct and consultative services in individual small group and/or classroombased and document student progress toward IEP goals using datadriven with teachers special education staff and families to support student academic and functional communication clinical supervision and support to the SLPA including observation training and performance feedback in alignment with ASHA and state licensure and cosign documentation completed by the compliance with the appropriate scope of practice and ethical as a member of the Special Education team; attend and participate in team meetings and IEP services are delivered in accordance with federal and state special education laws and accurate and uptodate documentation of services and communication in professional development and contribute to schoolwide initiatives related to communication and other duties as assigned.
