2 Radcliff Road Tewksbury MA 01876 Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler Ill Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

  • Create and maintain an efficient production schedule for manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and own the scheduling process tools and work closely with purchasing teams and the manufacturing value stream teams to develop strategies to ensure the production and supply of finished goods for ontime shipments.
  • Network with key internal partners and will own aspects of supply and demand planning (including resource capacity/utilization);
  • Schedule release and manage production work orders in accordance with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP);
  • Work with Value Stream Operations to develop attainable schedules eliminating inefficiencies and improving workflows to meet and improve on time shipment targets;
  • Work closely with the Value Stream and Procurement to prioritize expedite and deexpedite work orders based on material availability work center resources and capacity and customer demand requirements;
  • Coordinate and communicate requirements with Procurement to ensure that materials are purchased in the appropriate quantities and timeframe to meet production needs;
  • Identify take action to resolve and communicate critical issues gaps and constraints to leadership stakeholders and frequent contacts: Materials Manager Value Stream Manager Value Stream Production Supervisor Procurement Team Customer Service Product Management Team Quality Assurance and Engineering Teams.

MINIMUM Education Requirement: Masters degree in Supply Chain Finance Accounting Engineering Management or related field of study.

MINIMUM Experience Requirement: 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Planning Procurement Inventory Control or related experience. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education experience or training.

Alternative Education and Experience Requirement: No degree

and 6 years of experience in Manufacturing Planning Procurement Inventory Control or related experience.

Required knowledge or experience with:

  • Navigation through and interpretation of data in the ERP systems.
  • Manufacturing and Engineering processes such as BOM Capacity Planning and Routings at an operational level of detail.
  • Intuitive Cognos or Oracle experience required.
