Project Manager Educational Architecture
Charlottesville VA Fulltime Architecture 8 years experience
Salary Range: $105000 $120000 annually (based on experience and licensure)
Were looking for a Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of K12 educational architecture projects from concept through construction. This role is ideal for an experienced architect who thrives in a clientfacing leadership position and is passionate about creating inspiring functional learning environments.
Youll manage crossfunctional teams oversee budgets and schedules and work closely with educators administrators and consultants to bring impactful educational spaces to life.
What Youll Be DoingManage multiple small to midsize K12 projects from start to finish
Lead project planning design coordination and construction administration
Act as the primary point of contact for clients contractors and internal teams
Develop project schedules budgets proposals and contracts
Mentor junior staff and help foster a collaborative studio culture
Ensure compliance with educational standards building codes and sustainability benchmarks
Professional degree in architecture (accredited)
8 years of experience in architecture with significant K12 work
Licensed architect (preferred)
Proficient in Revit and project management tools
Knowledge of building codes LEED/sustainability standards and construction processes
Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills
Work on meaningful communityfocused educational projects
