Responsibilities
Peraton has a great opportunity for an Program Management/Integrated Master Scheduler in Herndon VA supporting a host of civil and government space customers. At the heart of national security weve been embedded into this cuttingedge program for nearly a decade. You will be working in a rewarding mission focused environment contributing to the protection and defense of national space assets.
Responsibilities of the position:
- The person in this role will work with program office stakeholders and partners to ensure quality inputs and baseline integrity aligning with government and company standards.
- The ideal candidate is a motivated team player who understands how to effectively and independently drive timely and accurate support of the IMS using MS Project.
- We are seeking a critical thinker with expertise in scheduling best practices and compliance able to make recommendations for alternative ways to view program information enabling program management decisions.
- Onsite work required for this position.
- Provides support planning managing and monitoring projects through its life cycle. Works on overall project planning through reporting on project schedules and deliverables.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree and 10 years of experience; or Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience
- 4 years of MS Project experience preferably with a software or system engineering background.
- This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of Top Secret /SCI clearance with ability to pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment or at customers request contract requires TS/SCI with poly. The candidate must maintain the clearance.
- Experience working with Program leadership to identify project slack and dependencies develop analyze and manage schedules that comply with a programs Statement of Objectives (SOO) Technical Performance Requirements (TPRs) Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) and the Contract Statement of Work (CSOW).
- Experience establishing and monitoring the execution of the program towards milestones key events and significant accomplishment criteria.
- Experience applying data analytics skills to simplify technical requirements establish metrics and apply data visualization through different formats and tools.
- Must have experience in communicating with all levels of management.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Atlassian Jira tool or equivalent tracking systems
- Experience with enterprise architecture application planning and deployment.
