We are currently looking for an enthusiastic collaborationoriented and passionate game mode developer to help explore and forge exciting gameplay experiences for a new unannounced game. Responsibilities
Design implement and maintain various gameplay systems for the game.
Ensure smooth online play across clients.
Act as a serviceoriented ambassador of engineering to the rest of the team while delivering high quality and wellstructured code.
Work closely with game designers other programmers and artists to ensure a great player experience.
Create maintain and improve our systems in existing and new tech stacks (such as Unity ECS/DOTS).
Be a role model with solid coding skills an innovative mindset and the ability to inspire those around you.
Be proactive and drive your own initiatives.
Be part of the creative journey actively contribute to the creative process and then execute on it.
Develop ineditor tools to speed up iteration.
Own the code that you create.
Skills and experience
Extensive software development experience.
Proven software development using C# in Unity.
Experience with mobile development and the accompanying best practices.
Ability to communicate effectively with designers and client engineers.
Selfmotivation and willingness to participate in many areas of game development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent teamwork skills flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks.
A mindset for growth and development.
A passion for games.
Bonus points
Experience working with game mode development such as win conditions environment mechanics game rules and more.
Experience working with client / server game systems and multiplayer game mechanics.
Experience creating and supporting tools used in game development.
Professional experience of runtime performance optimization ideally on mobile titles.
Experience of building a live service and maintaining a live multiplayer game.
Experience with Unity DOTS/ECS or other ECS.
Experience playing and analyzing games to inform design decisions.
