Job Description
Overview
Dynamic Biosensors (DBS) develops and markets innovative technologies for studying complex molecular interactions and kinetics supporting drug discovery in the pharma and biotech industries as well as in basic and medical research.
We are a growing provider of scientific instruments for the analysis of molecular interactions and are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Senior Embedded Software Engineer for our innovative SPR#64 instrument. We welcome applications from experienced engineers who want to use their innovative minds to create outstanding products.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs to extract user stories and scenarios
- Design develop test release and support software solutions
- Write automated acceptance tests to ensure that all scenarios are fulfilled
- Modify existing software to correct errors improve performance or adapt to new hardware
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the company learning and applying new skills in diverse fields such as optics and microfluidics
- Recommend and implement improvements to the development process
Qualifications
- A degree in a natural science or similar field
- Proficiency in modern software development with C#
- Experience in Embedded Linux development
- Experience in TestDriven Development Refactoring and Pair Programming
- Basic experience working with OpenCV
- Basic experience with IPnetworking
- Experience working in an agile development process
- Experience working with EventStore/Kurrent is a plus
- Experience with emulation tools such as QEMU is a plus
- Great written and verbal communication skills in English
