As part of the CorHealth program at Ontario Health the Lead Provincial Emergency Services will contribute their growing subject matter knowledge experience and insight to improving the quality of emergency care for Ontarians. This position involves advising and actively collaborating with project teams colleagues and clinical and administrative stakeholders to synthesize evidence develop strategies establish workplans and produce materials for highpriority projects. The successful applicant should be passionate about supporting initiatives that improve the qualityofcare delivery in emergency care.
Here is what you will be doing:
Lead and manage engagement with diverse groups of clinical providers health system administrators regional partners funders and other key stakeholders to support the implementation of multiyear initiatives related to emergency medicine.
Collaborate with Ontario Health teams to ensure alignment with broader strategic CIQP initiatives in support of health system planning performance measurement and reporting.
Lead project/program workstreams and key deliverables to advance the delivery and quality of key initiatives.
Develop implement and optimize internal business processes.
Actively engage with subject matter experts to provide thought leadership and strategic advice.
Develop relationships with colleagues within the team across the organization and externally to understand best practices risks/issues and program needs.
Prepare reports briefings and presentations based on evidence and best practices using excellent written verbal and graphical communication skills.
Demonstrate leadership and integrity in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience
Undergraduate degree (masters degree preferred) in health sciences health policy health administration or a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
7 years relevant work experience.
Experience developing leading and enabling health system strategy.
Experience developing best practice guidance health policy health system improvement initiatives reports and/or evaluations.
Experience planning and implementing large scale multiyear programs/projects in complex environments.
Strong understanding of Ontarios health care system and the public sector.
Knowledge and Skills
Exceptional interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills with proven experience fostering alignment and meaningful connections among diverse stakeholders.
