What You Will Do:

As a Senior Project Manager:

• Responsible for all aspects of multiple complex projects and clients from the proposal process to the final invoice with increased proficiency and efficiency.
• Manage key clients including TxDOT Harris County Fort Bend County Montgomery County Brazoria County Houston Metro City of Houston and other local municipalities.
• Responsible for directing managing and teaching staff technical and business development aspects of the engineering industry.
• Work collaboratively with other project managers to enhance plan production.
• Plan direct and coordinate all project activities including client meetings public hearings and open houses to ensure that projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frames and budgets.
• Anticipate client needs biases and preferences and tailor communication and work output accordingly.
• Lead coordinate and delegate work to multiple work teams working in multiple locations.
• Formulate track and meet project budgets and schedules.
• Maintain open and effective communication with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare or coordinate preparation of all project / client correspondence and documentation.
• Participate in and lead business development activities to new and existing clients through the following activities: plans leads and participates in client meetings and networking events; develops new client contacts and relationships in all areas of expertise and geographic regions; identify suggest and secure projects from new and existing clients; and work to secure alternative funding sources.

What You Will Bring:

The successful candidate must have:

• A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school.
• Registration as a professional engineer in Texas (or the ability to obtain Texas registration within six months).
• 10 years transportation experience.
• Experience in managing transportation projects clients and staff in the Houston region
• A history in delivering projects with positive customer service experiences a positive attitude as well as a willingness to learn.
• The ability and desire to develop an understanding of or even anticipate the clients needs is a plus.
• A valid drivers license and good driving record are also required.
