Job Description

JOB TITLE: Speech and Language AssistantQUALIFICATIONS: Speech and Language Certificate JOB DESCRIPTION:To implement the Speech and Language goals of the Individualized EducationPlans for preschool and high school students. Individualized sessions and group sessionswhich include regular education AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Creating instructional material2. Planning for individual students3. Planning for group sessions4. Implementing IEP goalsa. individualb. group ( regular and coded children)5. Maintaining daily progress notes6. Progress reports to parents7. Maintaining contact time sheets8. Attendance at PEPT meetings9. Maintaining effective partnerships with parents and staff10. Participation in Childfind clinics11. Maintaining school inventory and supplies12. Assisting Speech Pathologist as needed
