Job Description

This is for theSchool Year with the anticipated start date of July 1 2025.

TITLE: Payroll & Benefits Technician

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: 1 FTE/12 Month Wage Agreement

SALARY CLASSIFICATION: Classified

GENERAL STATEMENT of RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with Payroll/Benefit staff to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of employee time and benefits develop and maintain a professional relationship of goodwill with district staff and payroll/benefit vendors and maintain high standards in ethics and confidentiality.

OCCUPATIONAL CONDITION:

Low Risk Work is routinely performed in indoor environments including exposure to noise and being on your feet for extended periods of time.

EVALUATION PROCEDURE:

The evaluation is done by the Payroll Supervisor in accordance with provisions specified in governing board policy.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

The Payroll & Benefits Technician reports directly to the Payroll/Benefits Supervisor.
